Albert Gerard Bednar, age 88, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on May 6, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Betty Patricia Bednar (nee Ripley); devoted father of Patricia Thomas and her husband Glenn, Terri DiVenti and her husband Michael, David Bednar and his wife Christine, Kathy Schucker and her husband Gary, and the late Anthony Bednar and his surviving spouse Terry; loving grandfather of Christopher Thomas and his fiancé Kathy, Alexander Thomas and his wife Megan, Megan DiVenti and her fiancé Austin, Madison DiVenti and her fiancé Kyle, Cameron Bednar, Justin Bednar, Tessa Bednar, Caden Daubach, Tatum Daubach, Dane Bednar, Elisabeth Schucker, Isabelle Schucker, and Clara Schucker.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 3-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A Funeral Service for Albert will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 11 A.M., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
