On October 24, 2017 Alice R. Taylor (nee Wooten) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Taylor; devoted mother of Rebecca Herndon and her husband Mark, and Sherry Sparks; cherished grandmother of Scott Taylor, Tim Herndon and his wife Elisabeth, Brandan Sparks, Billy Sparks, and Kevin Sparks; loving great-grandmother of Lilly Taylor; beloved daughter of the late Oliver and Edith Wooten; dear sister of Oliver Wooten and his companion Sue Burucker, and Albert Wooten Sr. and his wife Jean. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday and Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Moreland Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
