I could fill a page with memories of your mother and father. First of all, I don't know if any of you know this, but my daughter Marisa's first word was not Mommy or Daddy, it was Jakey. I would hold her at the doorway and he would call to her "Little girl, little girl" from his bench. One day she answered back. She adored your parents and loved to sit on the bench with them every night. As soon as we got to the bench, she had to suddenly use the bathroom because she knew Miss Ann woud take her through the store to the bathroom and on the way back she would get apple juice and cookies. Every night this went on! How she loved them both and continued to adore your mother after your father was gone. It is unfortunate that no one from the neighborhood let us know of her passing. Ironicaly, Marisa was in town the week your Mom died. We both would have been there with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your parents with Marisa and me. We will love and remember them forever.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.  I remember her as being a really super person.

My heart is saddened to hear about the passing of a wonderful lady.  Aunt Annie you were a ray of sunshine to me.  I will miss you.  May the Lord wrap you in his warm embrace.  To the Gentile family, no words can take away the sorrow you must feel.  Please know that you are all in my prayers.

I am so sorry that I was unable to be with the family on this sad occasion.  Aunt Annie was a wonderfull woman.  Vincent, JoAnn and Arthur I will keep you and your family in my prayers.Love you all!!!

Dear Vince,Art,JoAnn & family,
We were truly saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother,Ms.Ann.When our Lord calls our loved ones home,he leaves a gift of memories in exchange.I will always cherish my memories of Ms.Ann,Mr.Jake & the corner store.

I will always remember Aunt Annie, as we called her in respect of the age difference between cousins. A role model of a modern day Saint who stood firmly in the beliefs of her Catholic faith and blessed by the grace of God to live through her 91 plus years, carrying her crosses of life and never loosing site of the goal. As you rest in His loving arms, beside Jimmy please pray for us remaining here on earth.

My deepest condolences to the Gentile Family in their loss of their mother and a very nice woman.  Many fond memories of the corner store with Jake hollering at us and Mrs Ann always taking our side being our second Mom.  My biggest regrets that I cannot pay my respect being in Wichita, Ks. until April, 23rd. My prayers to the family.
