Audrey May (Jones) Schmincke passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the age of 92, in Perry Hall, MD. She was born on September 25, 1932, in South Baltimore. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald, with whom they had two children, Donald Randolph Schmincke, Jr. and Donna Lee Bentman and her husband Steven. She was a very proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, Sarah Bentman, Michaela Bentman, Rowan Schmincke, and Nolan Schmincke.
Audrey loved to read, to laugh, and to be with family. She also loved God and loved helping people to know Him, especially in their darkest times. She even had a spiritual study group every Wednesday night for several decades in her home; where you would find figurines of angels everywhere.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, from 1-3 pm, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Audrey's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or to a charity of your choice.
