Barbara Elizabeth Hartman, age 78, of Joppa, MD, passed away on May 29, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Amos Hartman, Jr.; devoted mother of Laura Marie Hartman, and Glenn Christopher Hartman and his wife Erin; loving grandmother of Tyler, Molly, and Sydney Hartman; dear sister of Dorothy Memmo and the late Andrew, Paul, and Michael Szabad; cherished aunt of Anthony Memmo, Matthew Memmo, Michael Szabad, Daniel Szabad, and Andrew Szabad; beloved sister-in-law of Charles Hartman and his wife Marcia and their family, and the late Bill Hartman.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 3-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10 A.M., at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw RD, Kingsville, MD 21087. Inurnment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
