On October 10, 2026, Barbara Ann Jacobsen (nee Bolander) passed away. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wylie Jacobsen; devoted mother of Leslie Jacobsen, Susan Jacobsen, Robin Jacobsen and her husband Stephen, and Sandra Thobe and her husband Tommy; loving grandmother of Emily Nocera and her husband Josh, Tara Thobe, Victoria Thobe, Michael LaPenotiere; cherished great-grandmother of Madeleine and Jacobsen Nocera.
Family and friends will gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct 17, 2026, 12 p.m., at Perry Hall Baptist Church. Interment Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery.
