I worked with your Mom for several years at Lorien Riverside. We started there 5 days apart and I would always tease her that I had more longevity than she did. She was a wonderful, caring and compassionate nurse who was so proud of her chosen profession. She was one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She will be missed. You, her loved ones, are in my thoughts and prayers.

To my good friend Barb’s family-

I too will miss your Mom. She continued to text me often after I retired and would check on me after my recent surgery. Her last text was 1/29 and I so appreciated those texts. We had so much in common: went to same LPN school a year apart, Birthdays were exactly 2 months apart to the day ( me 12/14/49 and she of course 10/14/49) That was always our joke I would tease her and say she was older until my December birthday came about and she would get me back. I’ll miss her and will never be able to joke about that. She will stay her crazy 69 years as I age until we meet again in heaven and then she will always be my younger friend! I could go on and on with our stories and we have many after 20 years together, some happy, some sad but mostly crazy funny stories!
Love to all of you. You have my prayers and thoughts. Wende P ( Mom’s previous boss for 20 great years!)
