On Friday, August 7, 2026, Catherine T. “Rene” Brocato (nee DeLegge) peacefully passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Brocato, Sr.; devoted mom of Denise Brocato-Hawthorne (Geoff Ralston) and Anthony Brocato Jr (Jen); cherished Nonna of Jordan Galvin (Connor); Hunter Hawthorne (Courtney) and Malia Pearce (Jack); Jenna and Alexander Brocato; beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Adalgisa DeLegge; loving sister of the late Nancy Cataldo, Edward DeLegge, Alberta Cannizzaro, Jennie Casseri, Lena Valle, Anthony DeLegge, Joseph DeLegge, Amedea Liberatore, and Vilma Matricciani; dear sister-in-law of Irene Johnson, Frank and Carmen Brocato, and the late Joseph, Salvatore (Sam) and Vincent Brocato, Rose Callahan and Josephine Kadron. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and a future great granddaughter of Jordan and Connor.
Rene was involved with the Catholic Daughters of America, Knights of Columbus ladies club, and helping out at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
