Charles Phillip Hanke On January 7, 2013 Charles “Hank” Hanke passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Hanke (nee Pugh); devoted father of Butch Hanke, John Hanke, Mike Hanke, Stephanie Hanke-Hagy, Tammy Mann, Debra Mayberry, and the late Kathleen Dickerson; loving grandfather of 14 Granddaughters and 8 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Margaret Buttion. He is also survived by his extended family that he always welcomed into his home. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd.) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

Hank and I were Police Officers together at Fullerton Station and he always called me his "little buddy". He was a good Police Officer, a great person and will be truly missed. Deepest sympathy to the family and God be with you all. RIP Hank - "Car 271 is 10-42".
