Charles "Chuck" Leroy Marks

Charles “Chuck” Marks reached the end of his life's journey on April 22, 2022. He leaves behind his loving and caring wife, of 51 magnificent years, Gloria; and son, David, 5th District Councilman, Baltimore County. Also, two fantastic grandchildren, Nicholas Wyatt Marks, age 18, and Madeline Elise Mae Marks, age 13, whom he cherished dearly. He was predeceased by his siblings John Marks II, Benjamin Braun, Anna Jane Judy, Doris Speake, and Jack Meskil. Chuck worked for the American Credit Indemnity Co. for 37 years. Thereafter, he served on the Baltimore County Human Relations Commission for 4 years. He also served on the Baltimore County Board of Appeals for nine years, twice serving as chairman. For many years he was active in different official capacities relative to many Perry Hall Community activities. He was an associate real estate broker for 38 years, and was well known and respected in the real estate community. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236), on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 6-7 p.m., where a funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Interment private.
