Always positive and happy. Growing up next door and first cousin I saw him almost every day. He was always on the go and shinning his car. I was honored to be in his 1st wedding. We had fun on his boat and loved the times we fished. crabed and spent the day with him and Gayle. I will never forget his smiles and laugh. He was full of life and gave the fight of his life against his illness. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. May God bless you Bunk and be at peace. Love you forever.

Mr. Charlie was a very special person in our lives. He was one of my mom's and dad's best friends. He was always there to lend a hand with anything they needed and nothing was too much trouble for him to do. He and Ms. Gayle were a great source of comfort and as my parents aged I always knew they were looking out for "Calvin and Rita" and when my parents passed they were there for us too. Godspeed, Mr. Charlie, I know dad was waiting for you.

Love and prayers,
Joy and Jeff George

Dear Gayle, Tracy, Dave, Angie, Chip, and Terri:

I met Charles in 1994 when Tracy started working for me,(what she said was going to be for three weeks and turned into 20+ years) and Charles and Gayle quickly became part of my family and allowed me to become part of theirs, Charles was one of the kindest, sweetest, most generous men I have ever known. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, including the time there was a problem at the 7-Eleven when Harvey and I were on vacation and something needed to be fixed. He would come by and see me at my office even when Tracy wasn't working for me. His passing has left a sadness in many of our hearts. He will be missed by many and we share in your grief and your sorrow. May his memory serve as a blessing for you and your family.

As a friend of Tracy’s, I’ve heard so very many fond and meaningful memories of she and her father. I’m grateful to be here for you Tracy during this difficult time…you too can lean on a friend. Losing a parent is a wholly transformative event, yet I hope you are able to celebrate his life with love and appreciation for the time you had together.

Charles was such a nice man. I recall many of times living with Tracy he would come over and fix anything we needed and just made us smile. Always willing to do anything for all of us. You will be missed Charles!

Bunky & Dickie lived in the house behind our fence on Beryl Rd. Bunky was always really nice to us little girls- Patsy, Sharon & I. He was always working on his hot rod car! In later years, we would cross paths at some movie location he was working on or in the old neighborhood. He was always so gregarious & fun! So sorry to here of his passing; condolences to his family & friends!
