On March 24, 2021 Charles "Bunky" Plantholt, Sr. passed away at home surrounded by his family. He is the beloved husband of Gayle Plantholt; devoted father of Charles "Chip" Plantholt, Jr., Teresa "Terri" Plantholt Cook and her husband Howard, David Picarello and his wife Angie, and Tracy Picarello Rood; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; dear brother of the late Richard Plantholt; he is also survived by his loving cat Mabel.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 1-4 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer and appreciate memorial contributions be made in Charles's name to the International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Dr. North Hollywood, CA 91607, or to Gilchrist, 11311 McCormick Rd, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
