Chris Ashworth

On February 18, 2019, Raymond “Chris” Ashworth passed away suddenly at his home. He was the beloved husband of Tammy Marie Ashworth (nee Hammett); devoted step-father of Aaron Felton and Brittany Felton; cherished son of Hazel Ashworth and the late David Ashworth; loving grandfather of Carson Galloway; dear brother of Craig Ashworth. Chris is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 1pm to 3pm; at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’ name to the Charles County Sheriff’s Department, P.O. Box 189, LaPlata, MD 20646, or the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, 3245 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD 20602
