Constance Garcia Garriques

Constance “Connie” Garriques (nee Garcia), 89, a well-loved substitute teacher in the Perry Hall school system and fun-loving Grani who provided daycare for her 8 grandchildren, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 69 years to the late Richard Otis Garriques; devoted mother of Cheri Harrer and Ken, Cindi Garriques and the late Pam Hengemihle, Cassandra Pellegrini, Rick Garriques, Jr. and Lisa, and Stephen Garriques and Claudette; cherished grandmother of Ken Harrer, Jr. and Morgan Perich, Kyle Harrer and Debora, Casie Pellegrini, Gabriella Gaither and James, Tommy Pellegrini, Sam McCarthy and Norm, Tori Garriques, and Rick Garriques, III; loving great-grandmother of Cora Renee Harrer, Noah Perich Harrer, Gabi James Gaither, Henry Richard Harrer, and Charlie James Gaither; beloved daughter of the late Oniel J. Garcia and Helen J. Garcia (nee Poplovski); dear niece of the late Catherine Rausenberger (nee Garcia).

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton). Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
