On January 2, 2015 David R. Hartung passed away. He is survived by his wife Beth Hartung and their children Zachary Robert Hartung and Amy Catherine Hartung. He is the brother of George Hartung and his wife Sue, Margaret Andes, H. Joseph Kroeger, and the late Linda Bleakley, and the son of the late George and Audrey Hartung. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. David was a chef for many Annapolis restaurants and at the Governor's Mansion for the last three Governors.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Pirates Cove Restaurant, 4817 Riverside Dr. Galesville, MD 20765 from 1-4 PM. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in his name to University of Maryland Medical Systems Foundation, 110 South Paca St., 9th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201.
