I had the honor of sharing a room with this wonderful woman at the Young Survivors Conference in Atlanta in 2010, and so enjoyed our time together and long talks. She struck me as a very special woman with great spirit, and though we hadn't kept in touch, I will truly miss her.

Dawn and I became friends many years ago, when we worked together at C. W. Amos & Company.  We lost touch after our lives took us in different directions, but I have great memories of our times together.  Dawn was a wonderful person...i feel blessed to have known her. To Everyone - Dawn started a very promising accounting career with the public accounting firm in Balto. C W Amos & Co. She became a CPA and excelled at her proessional work. While she has lost a very long battle and challenge to a horrid disease, she won the hearts and utmost respect of a countless number of people, including all of the members of the Amos family. Dawn was a very personable and kind person, and she maintained many friendships within the Amos family right up through today and hereafter. She continually put the other person(s) out in front of her priorities, and she was just great to be around and socialize as well as work with! After her health issues became a severe situation, she took the time 5-6 years ago to attend and play a golf outing in memory of an Amos partner who lost his battle with cancer at age 42. For Dawn to be there that day told us all volumes about the kind of person she really was. Our prayers and love go out to all of her family and friends from the Amos family.

Dawn was a massage client of mine for over 15 years and visited me regularly for treatments.  What began as a business relationship evolved into one of friendship and love and she became a loyal and trusted friend.  She loved coming to my house, seeing my dog and visiting the countryside. Dawn's never ending optimism and cheerful demeanor never ceased to amaze me, and she had a great effect on my life - because of her I volunteer at the Race for the Cure and became aware of Hopewell and all the good things they do there.  I will miss her tinkling laughter and beautiful smile.

I had the honor of knowing Dawn through my wife Pam Reese who was employed with her at Lyon Conklin. There are many fine memories with Dawn and one which comes to mind now is a voyage on her ship in the bay with Randy and Beth Massey...Beth as "first-mate" and Dawn as captain, Pam ,Randy, and I as happy, comfortable passengers...F riends. The sorrow of our loss is only comforted by the knowledge of knowing that Dawn loved our God, her family, and friends more than words can aptly express.
