On February 23, 2014, Edmund Joseph Kowalewski, beloved husband of the late Doris Kowalewski (nee McGlynn); devoted father of Edmund G. Kowalewski and his wife Suzanne; loving grandfather of Grant, Kyra, and Owen Kowalewski; dear brother of the late George T. Kowalewski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus and a 20+ year member, he was also a Loyola University graduate and Athletic Hall of Fame Member for Basketball.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Bradshaw, MD. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
