Edna A. Uttenreither

Devoted mother to the Rev. Matthew J. Uttenreither and wife, Amy of Sussex, WI; loving grandmother of John, David, Mary Katherine, Hannah, Luke, and Sarah Uttenreither

Dear daughter to the late John E. and Edna Beck (nee Gipe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Edna was a graduate of Towson State Teachers College in 1963 and received her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1969. She began her teaching career in Baltimore City Schools in 1963 and retired from Brehm’s Lane Elementary School in 2001.

Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, Md. 21236, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., and where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
