On October 30, 2025, E. Laverne Laubach (nee Lytle) went Home to be with her Savior. She was the beloved wife of the late John Louis Laubach; devoted mother of James Eugene Laubach, his wife Dana; Charles Louis Laubach, his wife Janet; the late Leslie Catherine Miskelly, her surviving husband Terry; the late Roger Paul Laubach, his surviving wife Susan Mueller; loving grandmother of John Laubach, Christina Laubach, Jessica Miskelly, Gregory Brown, Jennifer Hamilton, Kristen Laubach, Michael Laubach, Lauren Walker, Jacob Laubach, James Laubach, Katie Miskelly, Nate Miskelly, and fifteen cherished great-grandchildren; dear sister of the late Ann Fitzgerald, Grace Stevens, and the late James Lytle.
Laverne was a woman of strong conviction and deep faith. Her life was shaped by the love of God, and this love overflowed to her family, her church, and her community through selfless service, steadfast prayer, and decades of volunteering in her parish and the Kingsville Civic Association. When not busy helping others, you could often find Laverne singing in a choir, cracking a joke, or, chasing developers out of town.
