Emma Alvarez Topacio passed on May 19, 2026, at the age of 68. She was the beloved mother of Toni Lauren Lyles (Garcia), and Joseph Joshua Garcia; cherished grandmother of Brandon C. Lyles, Athena M. Lyles, and Benjamin H. Garcia; loving sister of Angelita, Eduardo (Dec.), Eulogio (Jun) Jr., Erlinda (Dec.), Leonisa, Teresita, Reynaldo (Dec.), and Conception (Sannie); she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Parish, 100 Church Ln, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.
