On September 21, 2026 Floyd "Sydnor" Franklin passed away. He was the beloved lifetime partner of Carrie Jones; devoted father of Danil Franklin, Sheena Franklin (Justin), Sherrie Franklin, and the late Sean Franklin (Karla); cherished grandfather of Khloe, the late Kaiya, Sean Jr., Liam, Rain, Caiden, Malani, Lyric, Aspen, the late Ava, Ava, and Dania; loving son of the late George and Margaret Franklin; dear uncle of Karen.
A memorial gathering and service will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 due notice of date and times. Interment will follow at Garrison Forest Veteran Cemetery.
