On January 19, 2022, Francis Paul Garove passed away. He was the beloved son of Kenneth James Garove and Mary Roxanne Grelli; cherished brother of Anthony Reed Garove, and Alexandra Marie Garove and her fiancé Donald Carlo. Francis is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles.
Francis attended the Maryland School for the blind from 1996-2012. While attending MSB, Francis was nominated and won the Presidents’ Education Award in 1998 for outstanding educational improvement. Francis’ love of music led him to participate in switch and sound beam choir while at MSB.
After graduation Francis self-directed his services which allowed him to pursue the life he most wanted to live. He continued participating in music therapy and music activities. Francis attended bingo at Mt. Zion Church through the church’s special needs ministry. He also enjoyed swim therapy, walks in the neighborhood and just being with his friends and family.
A Celebration of Life memorial service and mass will be held at Saint Joseph’s Church, Fullerton on April 23rd at 10 am.
