Frank John Gorecki Jr.

On August 25, 2026, Frank John Gorecki Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep. Frank is the devoted father of Frank III (wife Carrie), Michael (wife Kristy), and Christina Vainio (husband Ville); cherished grandfather of James, Frank IV, Benjamin, Olivia, Grant, Eli, and Cameron. Frank is also survived by his loving partner Grace Elaine Repp, and his dear sister Patricia.

Frank was a hard worker. After starting a career in the sheet metal industry (known as a “tin knocker”), Frank eventually came to work for American Testing, Inc. On his path towards retirement, Frank was given many supervisory and mentorship roles.

As hard as he worked, Frank played just as hard, and was no stranger to a good time. His love for Baltimore sports was huge, but he also enjoyed bowling and golf. There are a lot of folks who remember some of his crazy golf outfits, but even more people remember Frank in a wild Hawaiian shirt, of which he had dozens. He coached all of his kids in bowling and baseball/softball, and was even able to attend some grandkid’s games. Frank’s Bloody Mary's were the stuff of legend, and everyone knew that he was never shy to sing along to the tunes at a party, even if the words were wrong. Especially if the words were wrong…
