George Michael Koerner, 80, of White Marsh, Maryland, passed on September 18, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Ann Koerner; devoted father of Catherine "Katy" Ann Culotta and her husband Kris, Michael Thomas Koerner and his wife Lisa; dear brother of Herbert L. Koerner and the late Eleanor Jane Reed; loving grandfather of Alyssa Cathryn Koerner, Jason Paul Culotta, Christopher Michael Koerner, and Joshua Michael Culotta.
Relatives and friends may visit at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., followed by a Committal Service at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, 8420 Belair Rd, Perry Hall, MD at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baltimore Hunger Project, which helps feed local students and families who struggle with food insecurity.
