George Kosmos

On March 21, 2023, George Kosmos passed away peacefully. He was the dear brother of Stergos, his wife Lucy, the late Steve and Markus; and cherished uncle of Michael, Alexis, Alexandra, Markus, Gregory, Erini, and Nicole. George was the son of the late Michael and Erini who emigrated from Rhodes, Greece in 1935. George was very proud of his Greek heritage and will be lovingly remembered as being kind and devoted to his family and many friends.

A visitation for George will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Trisagion will be held at 2:30pm. George will lie-in-state at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Rd, Parkville, MD 21234, on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM followed by the interment in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in George's memory may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road, Parkville, Maryland 21234.
