On February 20, 2025 George S. Wolbert, Jr. passed away. Born in Maryland, George was a veteran of the US Army, a longtime finance executive, and likely most proud of his role as a father and a grandfather. If you asked him, some of his most fond memories would be spending time at Mountain Springs Lake with his family many times over the years.
He was the beloved husband of Carol M. Wolbert (nee Sheckells); devoted father of Bryan M. Wolbert, and Sandy M. Wolbert; cherished grandfather of Joshua M. Wolbert, and Justin A. Wolbert; beloved son of the late George and Bobbi Wolbert; loving brother-in-law of Terry Zimmermann and her husband Bill; dear uncle of Jason Zimmermann, Erin Null, Kristen Reidel, and their families.
Services and interment will be private.
