On January 27, 2014,Herman L. "Dinky" Wockenfuss, 92; beloved husband of Marian Wockenfuss; devoted father of Carole Hemphill & husband Larry, Paul Wockenfuss & wife Lynn, Joan Scherch & husband Ron; dear brother of the late Bernard and Roland Wockenfuss. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many close nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends and many others whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 7-9pm, and Friday, January 31, 2014, 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Further visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested donations be made to either St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School,12022 Jerusalem Road, Kingsville, MD, or Baltimore Lutheran School, 1145 Concordia Drive, Towson, MD 21286.
