Jacques "UJ" E. Severe

On November 24, 2025 Jacques E. Severe "UJ" passed away. He was the beloved son of the late Allison and Eleanore Severe; devoted brother of Theodore Severe and his wife Rebecca, Kenneth Severe and his late wife Deborah, and David Severe and his late wife Jean; cherished uncle of William Severe (Rebecca), Robin Severe (Connie), Erin Severe (Ryan), Christopher Severe (Elese), and Abigail Rael (Gerald); loving great uncle of Stephanie, Heather (Doug), Patrick (Marleigh), Elizabeth (Cody), Shereen, Kyle, Roger, Ryan, Daniel, Emmalene, Kaitlyn (Romar) and Leah; treasured great-great uncle of Nathan, Carter, Nico and Landon.

Jacques enjoyed a life of being a magician and clown. Being artistic, he enjoyed making origami (especially with dollar bills), plastic canvas needlepoint (often of his own design), creating balloon sculptures, and following in the footsteps of his father, drawing awesome illustrations, including our annual family christmas card. He was a faithful magic club member of Yogi Magic Club, Denny & Lee Magic Studio and current longtime member of Columbia Conjurors as well as a 36 year member of The Society of American Magicians.

A Celebration of Jacques Life will be held on January 17th 2026 at Epic Church Baltimore, 1710 Delvale Avenue Baltimore, MD 21222. The celebration will start at 11:30 am.
