James Edward Bell

On September 2, 2019, James Bell; beloved husband of the late Ardis Bell; devoted father of Karen Elliott, Matthew Bell and Cynthia Schmidt; loving grandfather of Kirk and Kevin Elliott and Bryce Schmidt; great-grandfather of Olivia and Layla Schmidt. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and was the last surviving shipmate of LCT 1260, which served in the Philippines. James retired from his position as Engineer in the AMT Lab at Martin Marietta in 1990. James stayed active in SAMPE as well as the AMT-Old Timers and the 7:30 Club.
