Beloved husband of Judy R. Gach; devoted father of Shelley Wiechert; cherished grandfather of Connor Michael (Emily), Nicholas Wiechert; and the late Carli Wiechert; dear brother to the late John Gach and Susan Alderton and the surviving Bob Gach; also survived by many loving family and friends.
Shelley Wiechert, "My dad was the steady heartbeat of our family—quiet in his strength, generous in his love, and unwavering in his belief in us. He taught me what it means to show up for the people you care about, not with grand gestures, but with everyday kindness. His laughter filled our home, his advice guided me long after the conversations ended, and his love shaped the person I am. I carry him with me in every decision, every memory, and every moment of courage. Loving him was easy; missing him is hard; honoring him is forever.
My dad lived his life with humility, integrity, and a quiet wisdom that touched everyone around him. He didn’t need attention or praise—he simply did what was right. His love was steady, his presence grounding, and his guidance gentle but powerful. I am grateful for every lesson, every story, and every moment we shared. His legacy lives in the way I try to treat others, the values he instilled in me, and the love he gave so freely.
Dad was a great thinker, a kind spirit, a loving and devoted husband, a talented musician, a Rock Star yoga instructor, a healer to those in need through his career in Social Work, an amazing dad and even more amazing and loving grandfather and so much more that I can’t even put it all into words. He was the protector of the family and most importantly his beautiful wife, my mom, Judy. 56 years as this amazing couple, we should all be so lucky to have that kind of love."
