Born on August 24, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jeanette was the beloved daughter of the late Mildred Buck Simpson and George Louis Simpson. She married Stuart (Skeets) Linnemann in 1947, and together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2001.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Skeets; her son, Robert Linnemann; and her sisters, Betty and Doris. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patricia Linnemann; her son, Ronald Linnemann; her daughter-in-law, Jill Leahy; her dear cousin, Louis Buck; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Jeanette had a deep love for gardening and reading, finding joy and peace in both. She dedicated much of her life to her work as a postal carrier and is proudly remembered as the first female letter carrier in Baltimore—a testament to her strength, determination, and pioneering spirit.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., and where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
