Despite our 13 years shared working together, Jeff was so much more than a coworker. Jeff was a friend, a "brother from another mother."
He trained me, not only in the department we shared- but in many life lessons. Most importantly patience. I have more memories than I could count with Jeff. At work, on the bus, and all of the in between.

For all those years I watched Jeff try his very best to conquer all obstacles thrown at him. I watched him fall in love with Lisa and her children. I listened to him talk about his daughter and how proud he was. I watched him climb mountains, make medical progress, experience medical setbacks- all the while he was by far one of the most pleasant, happy going people I've ever encountered.

A bad experience never held him down, and he never turned down the opportunity to make more money for his family. In fact, our last conversation involved him singing The O'Jays- "For the Love of Money" and telling me to tell my manager to call him if they "needed someone."

I'm going to miss Jeff. Shoot, I already do. I miss his ambition, silliness, and overall kind soul. The hospital feels like its missing such an important piece.

It's not goodbye, it's just an I'll see you later.

Jeff was always a kind person. We would always have conversation about different things cutting the lawn, music,or the football game. He always was polite and friendly. May he rest in heavenly peace. To the family take comfort in knowing he is in gods loving care.

There was never a time that I saw Jeff and he wasn't smiling. And even if my day wasn't going well, he always found a way to make me smile and for at least for a moment, forget about whatever was troubling me. I always looked forward to encounters as I knew that I could count on him to make my day better. There aren't many people that I can say that has touched my life that way. But Jeff Freddie, was one. So, until we meet again.....
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile
if only I could have you back for just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do
you always meant so very much and always will do too
The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain
but you're forever in my heart until we meet again.

Rest in peace my friend. You ran a good race.

Alex

I'ts not too often I have been fortunate enough to encounter a beautiful soul like Jeff, but I am honored to have been given the opportunity to know him. Making others smile with his contagious smile Making people laugh while introducing them to his twin brother "Jerome" as he proudly wore his gray scrubs, Always giving, never asking for anything in return. Putting his heart and soul into everything. Sharing his happiness and kindness with everyone around him. My heart goes out to you Lisa and to the entire family.

Mr. Jeff Freddie,
A Man of Honor and Integrity
A Man who Loved his Wife and Family
A Man who devoted his Time and Talent to provide support for those who were in need
A Man who never felt that you should never miss an opportunity to eat, to laugh, to work, or just be silly to get you through your day
A Man that will be missed by many
A Just Man that Believed in a Higher Power
And this Man felt that Jerome would not be on the 5th floor (holding up his 4 fingers) but we will see this Man resting in peace for sure.
Thank you Jeff sometimes Jerome😃
We appreciate every aspect of your services that you surrender to the Linen Department

From the first day I met you,
I knew you would be my friend.
I knew that I could count on you,
No matter what life sent.

You always had time to listen
And time to give and share;
By all your words and actions,
You showed you really cared.

Jeff, you are so very special
It showed in all you would do.
I've found a special friendship,
And I've gained a brother too.

As a brother-n-law you were great.
As a friend you were the best.
To have had you in our family,
Made us all so truly blessed.

I am going to miss you, until the end of time Jeff. I love you so much! Sleep in peace my beautiful brother-n-law. Hug the family for me and let them know we are all doing fine. Until I see you again. You made it! "My good and faithful servant".

Your Cha Cha
