On July 24, 2021, Joan Elizabeth Chassagne (nee Yeagy) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo John Chassagne, Jr.; devoted mother of Louis Chassagne and Charles Chassagne and his wife Lisa; loving grandmother of Kevin Chassagne and his wife Emily, and Cassidy, Max, Colleen, and Cory Chassagne; dear sister of Patricia Stumpf and her late husband Carl, and the late Virginia Kirkpatrick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joan’s name to the Middle River Baptist Church, 610 Middle River RD, Middle River, MD 21220, or at www.middleriver.org.
