On July 1, 2026, Joan Ihle passed away. Joan is the beloved wife of the late Earl Ihle, Sr.; devoted mother of Earl Ihle, Jr. and wife Chris, Kenneth Ihle and wife Sharon, and Thomas Ihle, Sr.; loving grandmother of David Ihle, Elaine Kegan, T J Ihle, Tyler Ihle, and the late Scott Nadeau; cherished great-grandmother of Alayna, Cameron, Evan, and Ellie. Joan was one of eleven children.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham MD 21236, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., and where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
