On July 7, 2026 Joan l. Sisk passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Austin E. "Buck" Sisk, Jr.; devoted mother of Patricia L. Weber and her husband James, and Austin E. Sisk, III; loving daughter of the late John Harry Burkhardt and Ethel L. Burkhardt; dear sister of the late John Harry Burkhardt, Jr., George William Burkhardt, Robert Lawrence Burkhardt, and Sharon Lee Burton; she is also survived her loving nieces and nephews and their families, as well as other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton). A private inurnment at a later date will be at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
