On January 7, 2025, John George Baxter, Jr., passed away peacefully just a few weeks shy of his 87th birthday and was welcomed into the Heavenly Kingdom of God. He was the beloved husband of Gabrielle Baxter with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; devoted father of Janet Dillon and her husband Bob, Brian Baxter and his wife Cindy; loving grandfather to Alexa Dillon, Miranda Dillon, Lauren Wolf, Brianna Baxter, and Bradley Baxter. He was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Sharon Hnyla.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday, January 12th from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 13th at 11:30 am at Schimunek Funeral Home followed by interment at Parkwood Cemetery.
