On December 25, 2019 John "Jack" A. Hess passed away. He is survived by his first former wife, Janet E. Hess; beloved father of Donna Sue Bhalla and her husband Tony, David Brian Hess, and Cynthia Ellen Filicko and her husband Dan; cherished grandfather of David Bryan Hess, Jr., Danielle Lea Hess, Monica Joy Bhalla, Christopher Daniel Filicko, and Lacey Nicole Filicko; dear brother of the late Bernard Lawrence Hess, Jr. and his wife Bobbie Hess and their children Lynda, Steven, and the late Robert. He is also survived by his second former wife Judy Hess, her son Richard Duncan and his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Moreland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or The American Cancer Society.
