On August 25, 2021, John Francis. Sokolis peacefully passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances M. Sokolis (nee Sims); devoted father of Christopher F. Sokolis and his wife Mary Ann and the late Scott G. Sokolis; loving grandfather of Christopher D. Sokolis and his wife Rachele and Jamie L. Sokolis; dear brother of Dina Sturgill and the late Constantine B. Sokolis and Wanda Fitzpatrick.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236) on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. where the funeral service will take place on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
