John “Jack” Gilbert Stewart, Jr., age 82, of Baldwin, Maryland passed away on November 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Rita Stewart (nee Mostris); devoted father of John “Jack” Gilbert Stewart, III and his wife Jane, and Christy Michelle Stewart; loving grandfather of Deborah “Dee” Pucket, Jake Stewart, Drew Stewart, Nick Stewart, Deliliah Moore, Joe Moore, Elijah Stewart, and Maggie Lee Robinson. Also survived by many loving extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 12 P.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jack’s name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org, or to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
