My condolences to the Hiltz family. I worked with Joe for many years in the 
West Bldg. at Northrop Grumman, and helped him run the "Coffee" for the group. He was always very friendly & just a greay guy to work with.

My wife and I had the privilege of knowing and loving Howard for some 62 beautiful years. He was our son's Godfather and my unofficial brother. Someone once said that every death diminishes us a little because we grieve, not so much for the death as for ourselves. The important thing is that God allowed us to know a person such as Howard, a true friend; a gentleman; a gentle person; and a role model for all. We know that he is with Evelyn now and we offer our prayers for Howard's repose in the Lord. With Love.

I had the privilege of knowing Uncle Howard for almost 50 years as my Godfather.  I enjoyed many parties, dinners, holidays, and celebrations over the years... all with fond memories... and I'll always see Uncle Howard with that great smile and positive outlook!

Mr Howard was a life-long friend of my parents Bernadine and Alexander Borawick.        All the years that my dad was sick, Mr. Howard would stop by every Sunday to visit him after church.  My dad so looked forward to his visits.       I always respected and loved him.   He will be greatly missed.  Cindy and Ron, I understand how deep the pain goes when you lose a parent. Joe was my very good friend for 54 years.  He was a big man with an even bigger heart.  I will sorely miss our Friday nights out and his opinions on world affairs as well as our weekly phone chats.  Above all he was a great family man.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Joe Hiltz on several occasions. His honesty and work ethics were certainly evident in his son. I have worked side by side with Ron for many, many years. Ron, my sincere thoughts and prayers go out to you and your extended family. Heaven has its newest Angel.

My condolences to my friend Ron and the family.  Mr. Joe was the biggest nicest man I ever knew. Always willing to help out in any way. Mr. Joe helped with getting me a job interview at Westinghouse some 28 yrs ago. I always enjoyed talking and joking around with him at work, in the neighborhood, and at Mass.  Our loss is God's gain.

The absolute best father in law a girl could ever wish for, I will miss our Sunday dinners together! Love you!
