Kellie is the treasured daughter of Diane Pflugh and the late James Pflugh; beloved wife of 18 years to Kyril Revels; devoted mother of Brendan, Nathan, and Roslyn; dear sister to Deidre Pflugh, Kyla Burdine (Travis), Maris Pflugh (James), and Taryn Breznyak (Andras); loving dog mom to Trudy; Kellie is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Kellie graduated from Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland in 1998. She later graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she studied English, Psychology, and Dance. Kellie's interest in language and her desire to help others guided her to pursue a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University.
As a speech-language pathologist, Kellie brought her skill and compassion to patients at hospitals across the Baltimore area. Her truest calling was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she worked with the smallest and most fragile patients and taught new parents how to care for their infants. Many families brought their babies home with more confidence because of her patience and guidance.
Outside of work, Kellie was rarely without a book, and was always eager to discuss what she was reading, or suggest favorite books to others. She was also an enthusiastic crafter who was always in the middle of a project, and was fond of gifting many of her crocheted hats and scarves to friends and family.
Her love, laughter, light and legacy will not soon be forgotten.
