Larry Ross Hall

On November 19, 2025, Larry R. Hall passed away quietly in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Floyd, Virginia to the late Roy Rolph Hall and Violet M. Hall (nee Abrams). He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Jerelene L. Hall (nee Hayter); devoted father of Kathleen M. Legere, Marlene K. Hall, and Mark A. Hall, his wife Dr. Sandra Derenoncourt; loving grandfather of Emily C. Despeaux, (her husband Colin Siple), William J. Despeaux IV, Johnny F. Legere Jr., Abigail J. Emerson, (her husband Nicholas), Evelyn G. Hall; two great grandchildren; dear brother of Gloria Dean Oldaker, and the late Norman Hall, Bobby Hall, Dale Hall and Richard Hall.

Larry was an Air Force Veteran based in Scotland and Germany. When he returned he owned and operated the High store on Homburg Avenue in Middle River while he also obtained his accounting degree at University of Baltimore. He then worked as an accountant for Pepsi Cola Company for 19 years, then at Soil Safe for several years before retirement. He was a beloved member of New Life Baptist Church for about 40 years, where he served as a Trustee. He treasured his time spent with family, creating memories that he reminisced about frequently. His other favorite past time was being outdoors, working in his yard, gardening, attending to his flowers, going fishing, and various other home projects.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 PM and service will follow at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
