I am blessed to have had Lauren in my Social Studies class for 3 years at Trinity...what a beautiful smile always! She truly learned to love learning - she will be in my prayers always.

I met Lauren this past March/April. From day one of meeting each other, we spent most of our days together sharing in a common bond. We came from different backgrounds and had different stories to tell but we immediately clicked and she was a person for me to lean on in a time of need. She was genuine, strong, and humble. Lauren was so kind to me. We shared so many laughs during a growing time together and she was such a joy to have around. I am so sorry to her family. My heart hurts so much to hear this news but I pray that her heart is now at peace.

My son, Tyler has been friends with Lauren for 7 years. Our family got to know what a wonderful person she was through their friendship. When shelby had problems with boys or bullying in high school Lauren often sat and talked to her for hours giving her tips and tricks to make it through. Lauren could often be found sitting in my living room chatting Star Wars, Marvel and old video games with my husband. Her and I spent countless hours just sitting on my deck talking about life. We had countless family dinners with her.

Lauren was a smart, beautiful, kind young woman and an amazing friend. She may be gone but left us with amazing memories to treasure.

I hope in tough times ahead Lauren's family may be able to look at these memories and it will bring them some peace knowing all the good she spread.

I got to know Lauren when I was working with her momma, Lisa on a project. She was a little shy and quiet but over time we shared some fun things. The Wizard of Oz was something that she and I giggled about since I was from Kansas.
Rest in peace sweet Lauren, your smiles and memories will live on.
