Lois Ann Rider, age 96, of Carney, MD passed away on March 10, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late James Lee Rider, Sr., and the late Vernon Uzzell; devoted mother of Diane Marie McTiernan and her husband Michael, James Lee Rider, Jr. and his wife Sharon, and Colleen Rider Knellinger and her husband Keith; loving grandmother of Meghan Pitts and her husband Eric, James L. Rider, III and his wife LaTosha, Lauren Fowler and her husband James, Jr., Rebecca Knellinger and her husband Norman Dubicki, Jill Griffith and her husband Michael, Brennan Knellinger and his wife Amber, and the late Jeremy McTiernan; cherished great-grandmother of James Rider, IV, Brianna Rider, James Fowler, III, Cameron Fowler, Paige Dubicki, Pierce Dubicki, Nash Griffith, Harlow Griffith, Bodhi Griffith, Jaxson Knellinger, Remi Knellinger, and Roman Knellinger; dear great-great-grandmother of Eliantte Dubicki. Predeceased by three siblings.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Ursula Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Those desiring may make a memorial donation in Lois’ name to St. Ursula Catholic Church, 8801 Harford RD, Parkville, MD 21234.
