Lora June Bolyard

Perry Hall – Lora J. Bolyard, 85 passed away peacefully February 28, 2023 at the Accent Hospice Care in Med Star Franklin Square Hospital. She was born July 7, 1937 the daughter of William “Bud” Martin and Vesta “Ruth” Martin, nee Colebank. Preceding Lora in death was her husband of 41 years, Denzil D. Bolyard and two daughters, Deborah L. Dize and Paula J. Bolyard. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy J. Herzing and her husband Stephen, three grandsons, Cranston S. Dize and his fiancé Krystal, Nathan H. Dize and his girlfriend Katie, and Martin S. Dize and his wife Rachel, and by one great grandson, David C. Dize-Susio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Lou Martin, Helen “Jean” Bolyard and her husband Ronald, Evelyn Sanders and her husband Leslie, and one brother Gary Martin.

Lora is survived by two brothers, Francis Martin and his wife Nancy, Darrell Martin and his wife Barbara, one sister, Janice Hirst and her husband Tom, one sister-in-law, Shirley Bolyard wife of late husband Vance, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham MD 21236 on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6 – 9 p.m, and Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9-10a.m. at which time a Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to immediately follow the funeral services at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224
