I am a fellow colleague of Laurie's from BD. I just learned of her passing today. I am very saddened to hear this news. I worked with Laurie for several years at BD. I have fond memories of our professional and personal relationship. Her customers loved Laurie. She was such a nice person. She loved her Joel. My sincerest condolences to her entire family especially Joel and her two daughters. Laurie was always very kind to me and made me laugh and was a bright spot at our time together at BD. Sincerely, Kris King

What a beautiful person, my cousin Lori, we didn't see each other a lot as adults, but we were close at heart. I will always remember and cherish my childhood memories. I remember when she first started her family group on social media, facebook was not in existence yet. She was know as JadeyJazz. She was always loving and caring. I admired her love for Jesus, she was one of the people I credit who influenced me about loving the Lord. So, so sorry to see her leave us, but also knowing she is in the arms of the savior no more suffering and pain is somewhat comforting. Good-bye cousin until we meet again. You will never be forgotten and always loved. Beautiful person inside as well as out.

Lori. She was my shining star on the BD engineering team. I remember when I first took over the team, she had self taught herself one of our brand new instruments and became the expert on from that point forward. She was so smart. She was so funny. She valued her family and her son and daughters so much. She taught me to always add chamomile tea to any other regular tea when we were in Colorado for a BD trip. I still do that and think of her when I do it. She was a bright spot in my career. I considered her a friend. I will always have a special place in my heart for Lori.

Blessings and peace to the Dawkins family from the Sons of Issachar Ministry, Louisville Ky. Joel I thank the Most High for your lovely wife, allowing you to attend the Manpower conference some 25 years ago, out of that conference God gave me a true spirit filled, life long brother in you Joel. Over these 25 years there has not been one issue good or bad that you and Lori was not there praying me though! My heart is heavy but heaven has gained, Joel know she just sleeps and has entered into that heavenly joy with our Lord! I and my family all love you brother. We got you and your family covered in prayer. I’m just a call away man of God! Rev. Keith Jackson and family

I sincerely thank God for Blessing me some 25 years ago by bringing "Lori" into my life. A woman with a strong devotion to God, her family, and her church. The most intelligent, yet humble; loving, caring, witty and funniest, person I know.
Lori not only embraced me as a friend, but adopted me into the Dawkins family, whom I love dearly. Isaiah 57:2 Those who walk up rightly enter into peace; they find rest as the lie in death. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

I am forever grateful to have known such a beautiful person. Mrs. Lori and Mr. Joel loved on the kids at Camp Rock everyday that they came. Although I had gone to church with them both for many years it was during my time at Camp Rock that I got to recieve her love and wisdom. Before I gave birth to my daughter, she gave me a gift that she thought was small but it meant so much to me that I cried. It was my daughter's very first doll and she still loves that doll 5 years later. After leaving Rock Mrs. Lori continued to reach out and send kind words to myself and my family. I often saw her in Walmart and it was always good to catch up and get a hug. I will forver be honored to have known such a powerful, blessed, beautiful woman. Thank you Mrs. Lori for all the lives you touched. I love you. Sleep well.
