I met Luke and his wife years ago when their daughter Alana played softball with our daughters for Kingsville. At that time Luke and his wife were very busy with those three beautiful little girls. Luke sometimes coached but together with his wife they were always taking care n playing with their little ones. My impression was that were just very loving parents n very nice people. I am so sorry to hear this. I will pray for everyone❤️

Dear Ben & Theresa,
Our hearts are just so broken for you and your family, it is hard to find just the right words-so know that we would be hugging you, crying with you and longing to hear your sweetest stories of Luke......from as far away as Tulsa we are praying for you and your family........Love, Pam & Bernie

Luke: You & I didn’t always see eye to eye on things but at the end of the day you were family to us. You gave us three beautiful girls to grow up with. The memories with you were endless. I have so many funny stories which I know we all do. I’m smiling writing this. As cliche as it sounds, it truly won’t be the same without you.

It was always a treat when I would see Luke driving on his UPS route. It always felt like a game of I spy when I was at a stop light or a cross walk, and I looked at the driver in the brown truck and - when I was lucky - locked eyes with Luke behind the wheel. And then heard his booming, almost comically too-deep-for-his-body voice call out to me, “hey Molls!” It was kind of disappointing if I didn’t see him driving! It was such an inconsequential sighting, and yet his passing smile always brightened my day.

I enjoyed playing softball with Luke he added a good deal of offense and defense also it was a joy talking with him in the dugouts. I will miss him and the fellowship. God bless.
