Luther "Butch" Thomas Hildreth

On July 30, 2021, Luther “Butch” Thomas Hildreth passed away. He was the beloved husband of Danielle Marie Hildreth (nee Hanley); devoted father of Lee Hildreth and his wife Gina, Tommy Hildreth and his wife Julia, Nicole Maskovyak and her husband Mike, Nathan Hanley and his wife Kristi, and Dana Hanley; cherished grandfather of Kylie, Eva, Brock, Bronson, Tommy Dale, and Jessica and her husband Anthony; cherished great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Lisa Lowden and Lynn Mumey. Butch is also survived by his best friend John Mercier and his wife Kitty, his beloved pet companion Moses, as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother David Hildreth, and his cherished pet Tyler.

Butch was a Senior Superintendent with Whiting-Turner Company for over 30 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 3-5 PM and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Butch’s name to the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls RD, Baltimore, MD 21211, or at www.mdspca.org.
