Madge Louise Hoffman, age 90, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Madge was born in Bakersville, NC. She is survived by her beloved husband the late James "Jim" Hoffman; cherished daughter of the late Hershel Burleson and Mae Ward Burleson; devoted mother of Terry Ellis, Patricia Cole, and her husband Mike; loving grandmother of Josh Ellis (Genna), Dylan Ellis (Laurel), Steven Cole, Alexis Cole, the late Alex Ellis; cherished great grandmother of Jameson; dear sister of George Burleson, Margie McCardel; and sister-in-law of Mary Burleson.
A visitation for Madge will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. The entombment, will be at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road, Baltimore, MD 21220.
