I retired from nursing this year, so it made me think of Marge. We worked many long nights together in the NICU. We talked a lot about our families- she loved her kids so much. We shared Golden Retrievers. I miss her. She was a great friend.

I extend my condolences to Marge's husband, children, grandchildren and family.
I was shocked to her of her sudden passing.  As the Sr. Director of Nursing for Maternal Child Health,  I worked with Marge over the past 15 yrs.   She was a great clinician, and also a supporter for the NICU staff and patients.  She was always dependable, committed and professional.  Over the 15 yrs that I worked with Marge, on two separate occasions when the unit manager position was vacant, she partnered with another charge nurse to manage day to day management of this critical care unit that cares for premature babies, our most vulnerable patient population.  I am grateful for her dedication to the unit, to her peers, as well our patients as it certainly helped me during this time.
Marge was soooooooo dependable, always organized, and many times came in to work as we needed her help.
Marge was always direct in her communication and I always listened.   Marge was a team player and was a great colleague to Obstetrics.
I learned allot from Marge and I am privileged to have had the opportunity to be her colleague.

Marge was a calming central figure in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Newborn Intensive Care Unit.  She made a tremendous difference not only to the babies and their families, but also to our extended family at Bayview of nurses, fellows, doctors and staff.  My heart goes out to her loved ones.  It has been a privilege to work with her.  She will be greatly missed.

there are no words to describe the sense of loss. Jerry and Maggie and myself and my former wife shared many adventures on the bay where we used to "baycation". my deepest sympathys to the entire family

I am so sorry to hear about Margie. I have not seen her for ages. I am your Dad's Cousin and years ago moved across the country to Oregon. Your Mom was always so warm and wonderful to me. Dear Jeff and Family,
No one can understand the sheer depth of the grief, regret and anger you are feeling right now.  There are few things more painful than watching someone you care about in the kind of pain a loss this size can bring.  Your whole infrastructure is shattered momentarily, but you will find strength in ways you never thought possible. Give yourself time. You know, they say that loving someone when things are good is one thing, and finding a way to love someone when things are tough, that is what the meaning of love really is.  You have a strong wonderful family and a loving wife, so embrace them all.  Cry when you want and as often as you want, and eventually, you will remember the wonderful times and cherish the love that was and will always be between you and your Mom.  My prayers and best wishes to your entire family.

Marge was a nurse at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the past 25 years.  She was an important part of our NICU family and will be very missed. Marge held the title of Advanced Clinical Nurse and was certified in neonatal intensive care nursing.
I worked with Marge very closely on a daily basis.  She was my right arm and my permanent charge nurse.  Her dedication and loyalty to me cannot be expressed.  She was not only a coworker but a friend.
