Marguerite Anne Cornes

On March 26, 2021, Marguerite Anne Cornes (nee McDonald) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Cornes; devoted mother of Monica L. Schlissler and her husband Russell, Valerie A. Clem and her husband Johnny, Marie E. Gray and her significant other Thomas Hier, and the late William G. Cornes; loving grandmother of Russell J. Schlissler and his wife Kryssie, Hope M. Yarrington and her husband Jeffrey, and Matthew J. Gray; cherished great-grandmother of Augie Yarrington and Rory Schlissler; dear sister of the late John G. McDonald and the late Eugene F. McDonald.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 10 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (Owings Mill, MD). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marguerite’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105, or at www.stjude.org.
